Newly-elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif takes oath

ISLAMABAD- Newly-elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the oath of his office at President's House on Monday.

President Dr Arif Alvi administered him the oath. Outgoing Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, services chiefs, chief minister of three provinces and governors of four provinces attended the oath-taking ceremony.

PML-N Quaid Nawaz, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Asif Zardari, NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool and IPP president Abdul Aleem Khan were also present.
