ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet has expressed satisfaction over a peaceful change in Afghanistan.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary said it was satisfactory that no bloodshed occurred during a change in Afghanistan. "It is expected that the new administration will follow the international laws," he hoped.

He said that the prime minister had taken the cabinet into confidence over the situation in Afghanistan.

"The decision to recognize Taliban will be made in consultation with the international and regional powers," he declared.

Fawad Chaudhary said that the PTI will complete its three years in power tomorrow. "We will present the three-year performance before the people after Ashura," he added.
