Four PTI, BAP lawmakers join PPP

QUETTA: Four members of the National Assembly from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) joined the Pakistan Peoples Party.

PTI MNA Naimatullah Zehri while BAP’s Zahoor Balidi, Saleem Khosa, and Arif Muhammad have quit their parties amid brewing political tension in the country.

All four leaders held a meeting with PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and announced their decision to join his party.
The development comes as the coalition government and PTI stick to their guns in the general elections. Imran
