Heavy fog covers different areas of Punjab, affects flight operations and roads

LAHORE: Heavy fog has covered different areas of Punjab, different sections of Motorway have been closed and various flights have been suspended.

According to Motorway spokesman, Motorway sections are closed from Faizpur Interchange to Rajana Interchange (M3) and the entrance of heavy vehicles is not allowed from Ravi Toll Plaza to Kot Momin (M2).

On the other hand, eight flights have been suspended due to heavy on Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.

Meanwhile, visibility has been reduced to zero in different areas of Lahore. There is heavy fog in the areas of Defense road, Raiwind Road, Johar Town, Town Ship, and Engineer Town.
