KP govt formulates SOPs for Eid-ul-Azha prayer

PESHAWAR – Government has formulated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for offering Eid-ul-Azha prayer in mosques and Eidgahs.

According to SOPs, Eid prayers will be offered in spacious spots while maintaining social distancing by keeping a distance of six feet and leaving on row vacant.

According to directions issued by the government, wearing of masks has been made mandatory for entering the mosque while doors and windows of the mosques will remain open for ventilation and floor should be washed with sprays.

Availability of screening and sanitizers should be also be ensured. Government has urged sick and people over the age of 50 or under the age of 10 to stay at their homes.
