Maryam Nawaz feels unwell, suspends political activities

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz is feeling unwell and has suspended all political activities for four days, spokesperson of the party said on Sunday.

Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb, in a statement, said that Maryam Nawaz is experiencing fever and sore throat. The PML-N leader has also been tested for the coronavirus, the spokeswoman added.

Earlier, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief and Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman also fell ill and doctors advised him to cancel his political activities.

According to the JUI spokesperson, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is unwell and suffering from fever for the last two days while Maulana has tested negative for coronavirus, doctors advised him to rest.

According to the spokesperson, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is present at his residence in DI Khan.
