Mickey Arthur, Grant Flower reach Pakistan

Pakistan cricket team’s head coach Mickey Arthur and batting coach Grant Flower arrived in Pakistan on Sunday following World Cup 2019.

The two coaches are expected to present their report about the team’s performance during the World Cup to the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Contracts of both the head coach and the batting coach have expired with the conclusion of the World Cup, where Pakistan captured the fifth spot among the ten competing teams.

Arthur will also attend the PCB’s Cricket Committee meeting on August 2nd, where he will put forward his observations about the team’s performance.

Though the cricket board has stated that they are looking for a new head coach, sources say that the South African want to continue to work with Pakistan in the same capacity. For more latest news Pakistan, visit 9newshd.tv
