Pakistan reports over 1,200 coronavirus cases, 14 deaths

ISLAMABAD: Despite a significant drop in coronavirus cases in Pakistan, 14 people died and the country reported 1,207 new cases.
According to data released by the National Command and Operations Center on Saturday morning, 14 more deaths and 1207 new cases were reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours.
According to the NCOC, the total death toll has risen to 30,153 after 14 new deaths, while the number of patients has risen to 1507,657 with the addition of 1207 new cases.

Patients on Critical Care: 1117
During the last 24 hours, 53625 tests were conducted across Pakistan while the positive ratio was 2.25 percent. The number of patients in critical care was 1117.
In the country, 25313 patients have recovered from the virus while the total number of those who have recovered is 1440292. The total number of active cases recorded in the country till Saturday was 37212.
So far 567000 people in Sindh, 500789 in Punjab, 215936 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 134240 in Islamabad, 35322 in Balochistan, 42909 in Azad Kashmir, and 11461 in Gilgit-Baltistan have been infected with the coronavirus.
Besides, 13,493 people have lost their lives in Punjab, 8,062 in Sindh, 6,237 in KP, 1,009 in Islamabad, 787 in Azad Kashmir, 375 in Balochistan, and 189 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
