PDM Clash Is A Proof Of Political Immaturity Says Firdous Ashiq Awan

KARACHI: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the clash of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is proof of political immaturity.

Talking to the media on Saturday, she said that the government was ready to do legislation in consultation with the opposition in the interest of the public.

She said that both parties had termed each other 'selected'. "The decision has been made to take stern steps in a meeting of the NCOC," she added.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the lockdown would be imposed where the coronavirus cases are on the rise.

She said that it was mandatory to ensure the implementation of SOPs. "The desired results cannot be gained through the smart lockdown. Only complete lockdown can control the increasing rate of coronavirus infections," she maintained.
