PDM leaders' meeting postponed in mourning for Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) on Monday postponed its meeting in mourning for the nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.
Talking to the media, PDM Spokesperson Hafiz Hamadullah said that Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif had attended the meeting through the video links. "However, the meeting did not discuss any matter on the agenda," he announced.

He said that the meeting had declared Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan as the national hero.
He said that the participants prayed for Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, PML-N leader Pervez Malik and AJK former president Sikandar Hayat. "The PDM will hold a public meeting in Faisalabad on October 16. The PDM leaders' meeting will be held with the same agenda on October 18," he announced.
