PM congratulates FBR on historic revenue collection

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated FBR for achieving tax collection of 1840 billion rupees during the first four months of the current fiscal year.
In a tweet today, he said this is thirty-seven percent higher than the corresponding period last year. He pointed out that tax collection in October surpassed its monthly target because of robust economic performance.
I want to congratulate FBR for achieving tax collection of Rs 1,840bn for July/Oct, which is 37% higher than last year. Tax in October has surpassed its monthly target set. It is all due to a robust economic performance.

Contrary to propaganda, Income Tax also grew by 32% YoY
The Prime Minister said contrary to propaganda, Income tax also grew by thirty-two percent.
