PM Sharif to chair federal cabinet meeting today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will preside over the Federal Cabinet meeting today, for which a five-point agenda has been issued.
According to details, a federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be held today to consider the five-point agenda. In view of the ongoing load-shedding in the country, the cabinet members will be briefed on the load management plan.
The appointment of auditors for the audit of the SECP (Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan) and ratification of the decisions of the Economic Co-ordination Committee on June 3 are part of the agenda of the meeting.
The agenda of the cabinet meeting also includes ratification of the decisions of the Cabinet Legislative Committee on June 29. The cabinet members, led by the prime minister, will consider the country’s political and economic situation and make other important decisions.
In addition, ratification of the decisions of the Cabinet Committee on Privatization is also part of the five-point agenda of the meeting. It should be noted that the government is considering the privatization of national institutions to take the country out of the economic crisis.
