ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has said that things have improved by 50% after the appointment of Gen Asim Munir as new Army Chief, and expressed hope that the same would be improved further in near future.

Talking to a private TV channel last night, Fawad Chaudhry said the party’s relations with the Establishment had improved by about 50%.

He said the PTI hadn’t even thought about submitting a no-trust move against Shehbaz Sharif, adding that on the other hand, President Arif Alvi would be requested to ask Shehbaz Sharif to take vote of confidence from the National Assembly.

Fawad Chaudhry, responding to a question, berated the decision by Speaker NA to accept 35 more resignations of PTI MNAs, saying about 81 resignations had been accepted till to date, while 41 were still remaining, and that no decision had been taken as yet about Imran Khan contesting on all vacant seats.
