Threats to ECP: Court grants conditional bail to Fawad Chaudhary

ISLAMABAD: District and Sessions Judge Faizan Gillani granted conditional bail to PTI leader Fawad Chaudhary on Wednesday, ordering to release him immediately.

The court also ordered him to furnish surety bonds worth Rs20,000.

The judge remarked that he was granting him bail on condition he will not repeat such conversation. He also directed his counsel Babar Awan to go through the case.

"A half of conversation of Fawad Chaudhary is criticism. People would take them to their houses. What does it mean?. Fawad Chaudhary is a senior lawyer and former parliamentarian and such type of ignorance cannot be expected from him," he observed.

Babar Awan contended that the conversation of Fawad Chaudhary is unnecessary, but a case cannot be registered against him.
