Field Marshal Asim Munir Leaves for Iran as Pakistan Steps Up Peace Efforts

According to the ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir’s visit to Iran is aimed at supporting Pakistan’s efforts for peace and stability in the region.
Pakistan remains committed to pursuing a peaceful, sustainable and comprehensive resolution to the conflict in the Middle East, the military’s media wing said.
During his visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir will focus on diplomatic efforts aimed at advancing a peaceful resolution to the ongoing regional conflict, according to the ISPR.
The ISPR said Pakistan continues to pursue diplomatic initiatives to promote lasting peace and stability in the region, describing the army chief’s visit to Iran as an important component of Islamabad’s broader diplomatic efforts.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is accompanying the CDF on the visit, the Pakistan military’s public relations wing said.
