Mirpur knows PML-N is symbol of development: Marriyum Aurangzeb

Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said the people of Mirpur know that the PML-N is the symbol of development, therefore, they voted the party candidates.
“People's decision in favour of the PML-N was made when Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz arrived in Mirpur on July 24.
Mirpur announced by stamping on the symbol of lion that the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is only linked to the PML-N.
On July 21, Muzaffarabad already announced its decision in favour of PML-N in a public rally. On August 2, Kashmiris will officially announce this decision by giving votes to PML-N,” the senior minister said.
It should be noted that according to unofficial and unconfirmed results from various constituencies of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly, there was a close contest between the Muslim League (N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party.
PML-N emerges single largest party in AJK phase-I polls with seven seats, leaving PPP runner-up with three, according to unofficial and unconfirmed results, as counting in the remaining constituencies is underway, Dunya News reported here on Monday.
Polling was held in 13 constituencies of Mirpur Division for AJK Legislative Assembly (LA). The elections are taking place in three phases.
According to the unofficial and unconfirmed results of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly, the PML-N has managed to secure a clear majority.
