Nawaz Sharif to address PML-N rally in Mirpur

With just two days remaining before the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly general elections, political activities and election campaigning have reached their peak across the region.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to address a major election rally today at Quaid-e-Azam Stadium in Mirpur.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, along with senior central and local leaders of the PML-N, will also attend the public gathering.
Preparations for the rally have entered the final stage, with arrangements, including the completion of the main stage and other logistical measures, being finalized at the venue.
A large number of party workers and supporters are expected to participate in the rally, while convoys from different areas continue to arrive in Mirpur ahead of the event.
General elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are scheduled to be held on July 27, with political parties intensifying their election campaigns in the final days before polling.
