Overseas Pakistanis remit $383 million in March.

Remittances rose 17% compared to the previous month, though they were down 5.5% compared to March last year.
Saudi Arabia was the largest contributor, sending $92 million, followed by the United Arab Emirates with $82 million. The United Kingdom accounted for $59 million, and the United States contributed $36 million.
In the first nine months of the current fiscal year, Pakistan received $3.03 billion in remittances, an 8% increase compared to the same period last year.
The steady inflow of remittances underscores the important role of overseas Pakistanis in supporting the country’s economy.
