ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan on Friday clarified that the landmark defence agreement signed between the two nations is not directed against any third country.
Addressing his weekly media briefing on Friday, he said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a unique bond of brotherhood and cooperation, with the Pakistani people holding deep reverence for the land of the Two Holy Mosques.
Defence cooperation, dating back to the 1960s, has remained a cornerstone of bilateral ties, and both countries’ leaderships are committed to taking relations to greater heights, he added.
