PSX surges as 100 Index crosses 161,000 mark

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange is witnessing a huge boom in trading, and the 100 index has reached a new record high.

The last day of the trading week saw a positive start to trading from the beginning of the day, and at one point, the 100 index saw an increase of more than 800 points.

Currently, the 100 index is trading at 161,181, up 1,901 points, which is the highest level of the Pakistan Stock Exchange so far.

This year, the PSX 100 index has increased by 39 percent, while the 100 index has increased by 96 percent in one year.
